On June 14, Lince Group held a postdoctoral entry‑station proposal defense, during which Dr. Gong Wenjing successfully passed the review of her research proposal.

An expert review panel comprising Professor Liu Yali and Professor Chu Zonglin from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Hunan University, Professor Su Shengpei from Hunan Normal University, Li Pengfei, Director of the CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Industrial Design Institute, and Yang Qi, Chief Engineer of Lince Group, evaluated the proposal report.

Xu Zhao, Director of the Expert Center of the Hunan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, along with leaders including Xiao Yongmin, Chairman of Lince Group; Liu Chaohui, Party Secretary; and Tan Yan, Deputy General Manager, attended the opening ceremony of the report presentation.

At the proposal defense, Gong Wenjing presented a detailed report covering the research background, research approach and methodology, experimental plan, annual research schedule, and anticipated outcomes. She explained that the study aims to enhance the weather resistance and anti‑aging properties of waterborne coatings, thereby extending their service life under harsh environmental conditions and enabling their broader application in rail transit equipment and high‑end industrial sectors, thus further advancing the green transformation of the industry.
Gong Wenjing serves as the project leader for multiple provincial-level initiatives focused on waterborne coatings and anti-corrosion coating technologies. The waterborne coatings she spearheaded boast high gloss, excellent body, superior weather resistance, outstanding corrosion resistance, and exceptional application performance. Her work on waterborne coatings for high-speed trains has been included in Hunan Province’s “100 Key New Product Promotion Plan” for the industrial sector, with a technological level that meets international advanced standards and widespread adoption in high-end equipment fields such as rail transit.

The expert panel conducted a thorough on-site discussion of the research project’s feasibility and engaged in a Q&A session, unanimously concluding that the topic is cutting-edge and that the proposed approach offers a scientifically sound solution to challenges in the rail transit sector. The panel approved the initiation of the project.

In 2014, with strong support and assistance from the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security and the Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security, Lince Group established a collaborative R&D center affiliated with its postdoctoral research workstation. The company has since engaged in multi‑dimensional, in‑depth cooperation with universities such as Central South University and Hunan University, focusing on talent development, resource sharing, and the commercialization of research outcomes. Two postdocs who have completed their stations—Hou Zhiquan and Chen Wentao—have achieved breakthroughs in forward‑looking research areas, including the design of inclined‑flow fans for rail transit and eddy‑current damping vibration‑reduction technology, and have successfully translated these findings into practical applications.
