On the morning of July 11, at the site of the company’s Intelligent Transformation and Upgrading Project for the High-End Rail Transit Equipment Supporting Industries (Phase II), loaders and excavators were fully assembled and ready to depart, creating a scene of bustling activity.

Chairman Xiao Yongmin announced, “The second phase of the Intelligent Transformation and Upgrading Project for the High-End Rail Transit Equipment Supporting Industries has commenced.”

Gao Dequan, Chief Economist of the China Railway Third Bureau Transportation Company, and Qian Jian, Chairman of the company’s Supervisory Board, delivered remarks. Also in attendance were Wang Lizong, Vice Chairman of the company; Liu Chaohui, Party Secretary; Dong Xin, Deputy General Manager; as well as relevant leaders and heads from the project’s design, construction, and supervision units.

The project covers a total area of approximately 143 mu and comprises four major components: capacity expansion, industrialization of rail‑transit vehicle assembly technology, intelligent manufacturing of high‑end core and critical components, and the construction of testing and experimental platforms. Phase II of the project represents the final stage of the company’s new‑base development, encompassing one production plant, one R&D and testing building, ancillary facilities, and supporting infrastructure, with completion expected in April 2023.
