During the lecture, Chief Prosecutor Ling Hui provided a detailed analysis for Lince Group employees of the relevant offenses, elements of the crimes, thresholds for initiating prosecution, and sentencing guidelines pertaining to intellectual property offenses involving enterprises. He explained, in clear and accessible terms, the harm such offenses inflict on the nation, society, and businesses alike. In the interactive session, he patiently addressed the intellectual property‑related legal questions raised by Lince employees in their work and daily lives, encouraging them to actively study the law and apply it to safeguard every innovative achievement—both for the company and for themselves.

Chief Prosecutor Ling Hui stated that bringing the law into enterprises is one of the practical approaches to thoroughly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches on supporting the development of the private sector, promote high-quality, sustainable economic and social development, and provide higher‑quality, more tailored judicial services to bolster the growth of private businesses. Intellectual property, he added, is a powerful tool for enhancing the market competitiveness of private enterprises, cultivating their resource advantages, and facilitating transformation and upgrading. Moving forward, the District People’s Procuratorate will further strengthen two‑way communication and collaboration between the procuratorial organs and enterprises, using specialized training sessions on intellectual property and trade secrets as a strategic entry point to refine its mechanisms for service and support, adopt a multi‑pronged approach, extend the scope of its case‑handling functions, and consistently deliver precise and targeted judicial services, thereby fostering a sound rule-of-law environment conducive to the high‑quality development of the private economy.
