　　The National Selection for Advanced Collectives in the Machinery Industry is held every five years. By recognizing and commending outstanding collectives and individuals across the sector, the initiative sets exemplary standards, promotes integrity, and inspires the enthusiasm, initiative, and creativity of the vast ranks of cadres and workers in the machinery industry nationwide. This year’s selection process ran from late August 2018 to May 2019, spanning nine months. Following grassroots democratic recommendations, review and approval by relevant county- and city-level authorities, endorsement by provincial-level selection bodies, and final re-examination and public announcement by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the China Machinery Industry Federation, a total of 96 organizations were awarded the title of “National Advanced Collective in the Machinery Industry,” 91 comrades received the title of “National Model Worker in the Machinery Industry,” and 3 comrades were honored as “National Advanced Workers in the Machinery Industry.”
