On March 1, the company convened its 2024 Management Work Conference to comprehensively outline the year’s operational and managerial priorities. The meeting was chaired by Vice Chairman Wang Lizong, with attendance from senior executives, mid-level managers, and department heads.

During a collective integrity‑building talk, Zhao Qin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, emphasized the need to further elevate political awareness, remain true to our original aspiration and mission, strengthen our sense of responsibility and commitment, maintain a high spirit and resolve, uphold integrity and incorruptibility, persist in liberating our minds, foster self‑revolution, and rally the powerful force of unity and concerted effort, so as to spare no effort in opening up a new chapter in our endeavors.

Each responsible division shall deploy its annual work through written reports.

Chairman and General Manager Xiao Yongmin announced the annual management and operational targets for each unit. He emphasized, with regard to cultivating core products and developing new ones, the need to foster an innovation‑driven culture that encourages, supports, and respects creativity while tolerating failure. He urged bold innovation in areas such as new product development, the application of advanced materials, and the adoption of cutting‑edge processes, encouraging everyone to think boldly and experiment fearlessly. Using the optimization of a specific product’s manufacturing process as a case study, he provided an in‑depth analysis and called on all managers to go out into the field, embrace fresh ideas and methodologies, and comprehensively enhance managerial effectiveness. In the face of a challenging business environment, he rallied all employees to stay true to their original aspirations and mission, strengthening their sense of crisis, innovation, responsibility, and teamwork. He stressed the importance of maintaining a deep respect for the market and our customers, staying grounded in the present, treating complacency as a grave threat, and dedicating themselves fully to quality improvement, lean production, digital transformation, and other critical initiatives. By moving with “speed,” they will drive the company’s sustainable, high‑quality growth and steadily advance the path toward common prosperity.

Vice Chairman Wang Lizong summarized the meeting. He emphasized the need to focus on key priorities, clearly define the direction of our work and pinpoint areas of greatest effort; to target breakthroughs, unblock bottlenecks, and address persistent challenges; to ground our initiatives in practical outcomes, enhancing our capacity for innovation and creativity to drive industrial expansion; and to keep our core objectives firmly in sight, consistently aligning with the company’s annual goals and tasks, taking proactive measures, and energetically advancing to forge a new chapter in the company’s development.
